14 May 08: Yes, we are still alive! Due to some changes in circumstances, development at Plane Design has slowed somewhat. These shots are quite old, but show our work in progress project - Mk.VIII, Mk.IX and Mk.XI Spitfires. We have modelled many minor detail differences within the marks - undercarriage variations, bulges on the wings and even the cannon fairings are among the subtle variations we have included. If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know.

8 May 06: To celebrate the 61st Anniversary of VE Day, we today announce our new project - a Spitfire LF.16. This aircraft contains many exciting features and has been modelled with genuine Supermarine blueprints and the assistance of several well known Spitfire restorers and experts. 1 March 06: The Bristol Fighter project is temporarily on hold while we concentrate on an exciting new Payware project. We have included a development shot of the pilot for the new project, and we will reveal more details over the coming months.

10 August 05: We have released an update to our Lancaster product. Updates: 1. The engine modelling has been improved, leading to more accurate takeoff performance and fuel consumption figures. 2. Aerodynamic modelling has been overhauled. The aircraft has much improved stall characteristics. 3. PO-S now has "S" painted on the fins per original aircraft. 4. Small area of discoloration on the nose of the Grand Slam fixed. 5. Air Speed Indicator redrawn. Existing users, please click HERE to download the update. All new downloads contain this update. UPDATE: Some users have reported that they were unable to restart engines with this patch. This error has now been corrected. Please download the patch at the link above to correct the problem.
